In the name of God Amen I Mary Stridwick of Abingdon in the County of Berks Widow being weak in body but of sound and disposing memory Blessed be God for the same do this fifth day of ffebruary in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and forty seven make publish and declare this my last will and testament revoking all former wills by me heretofore made in manner and form following

Ffirst i give and devise to my son Willm Cowell my gold watch and Shagareen case five large silver spoons and six small ones and pair tongs and stone buckel paying my daughter Mary Strudwick the sum of Ffifteen pounds fifteen shillings

Next I give to my daughter Mary strudwick all my wearing apparell and all my plate rings and all my household goods bills and bonds if live to the age of twenty one if not I give to my sister Deb Stacey all my linnen and wearing apparel and my other effects to my Brother Jno Stavey Except my bed Bedstead Curtains and other furniture belonging to it also if my son Willm Cowell should dye before he comes of age then I leave it all to my Brother Jno Stacey or his executrix also I leave my Brother Jahn Stacey in trust for all my whole effects and this I leave as my last will ans testament in witness hereof have to this my last will and testament sett my hand and seal the day and year above written Mary Strudwick

Probatum 27 Sept 1748 to John Stacey (the uncle) for the use of Mary Strudwick the daughter, an infant, untill she is twentyone, for that no executor is named therein
